THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Class Act Productions presents DISNEY’S MY SON PINOCCHIO, (GEPPETTO'S MUSICAL TALE) February 21 and 22, at the Nancy Bock Center for Performing Arts, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands. DISNEY’S MY SON PINOCCHIO is the classic tale of an aging toymaker and his beloved wooden puppet. This Disney gem is a musical the entire family will truly enjoy.

It retells the classic Disney story from Geppetto’s perspective, features the well-known songs “When You Wish Upon a Star” and “I’ve Got No Strings,” alongside a host of new songs by Oscar- and Grammy Award-winner and master melodist Stephen Schwartz. The show touches on timely issues about what it means to be “the perfect child” – and what it means to be “a real father.”

DISNEY’S MY SON PINOCCHIO is a musical based on Disney's made-for-television movie GEPPETTO, which was based on a book by David Stern. The musical is a re-telling of the children's book The Adventures of Pinocchio, by Italian author Carlo Collodi, but the story is told from Geppetto's perspective.

Join the Blue Fairy, Stromboli and a lively cast of characters as Geppetto journeys beyond the toyshop to discover the meaning of family. DISNEY’S MY SON PINOCCHIO, is a magical mix of heartwarming fairy tale and action-packed adventure. You will love following Pinocchio's journey from an awkward wooden puppet to a real live boy and will be charmed by Geppetto's transformation from demanding creator to real live father.

?? A cast of over 60 tremendously talented local student actors will be bringing this story to the stage. Each actor brings a special touch to this wonderful show.
