Class Act Productions to present 'The Little Mermaid' in February

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS — Class Act Productions presents THE LITTLE MERMAID, February 20, 21, 27, and 28 at Nancy Bock Center for Performing Arts, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive, The Woodlands.

The show’s Producer, Class Act Productions Founder and Artistic Director, Keith Brumfield, shared, “I think audiences will delight in seeing one of their favorite Disney princesses and her friends brought to life by our tremendously talented cast of students.”

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The LittlemMermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl," and "Part of Your World."

The show is in the skilled hands of long-time Class Act Director Tina Kraft, assisted by Class Act alumni Laurelyn Korfhage and Katy Ruth Rogers. The show will feature a live orchestra, directed by Class Act Music Director Rae Moses.

Performances will be held February 20 and 27 at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm and on February 21 and 28 at 2:30 pm. All performances are at the Nancy Bock Center for Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased online at www.classactproductions.org or by calling 281-292-6779. Tickets are $15-$30 with discounts for seniors and children 12 and under. Class Act Productions is a non-profit performing arts group that provides education, training, and participation in professional-quality musical theatre productions for students in The Woodlands, Texas and surrounding areas. By participating, students learn teamwork and responsibility as well as technical, performance, and artistic elements of musical theatre.
