Three Texan pitchers boost the 2016 roster

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodland Strykers are excited to announce the addition of three Texan pitchers to the season’s roster. Eric Foshee, Ben Kennedy, and Hunter McClellan will be joining the Strykers for the 2016 season.

Right-handed pitcher Eric Foshee is joining the Strykers from Vidor, Texas. At Lamar University, Foshee has had 25 strikeouts in 38 innings of work. He was MVP of his district in high school as well as obtaining 105 strikeouts in 50 innings.

Sophomore, Ben Kennedy, comes to the Strykers this summer from Alvin Community College. “Great arm that will be an asset to our rotation. I look forward to watching him develop over the summer,” said Coach Dillard.

Hunter McClellan is a freshman from the top ranked NJCAA San Jacinto College baseball program. In 2015, he was recognized as a Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American Texas Region. The Strykers are excited to have his right-hand pitching arm this summer.
