THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Strykers took game two in a Sunday doubleheader against Acadiana to move up to fourth place in the TCL.

If the Strykers hold on to fourth place during the final week of the season they will advance to the playoffs next Saturday.

In Game one, the Strykers were unable to get the bats going as they were only able to muster five hits. Mitchell Bumann, Jonathan Ducoff, Coll Stanley, Roosevelt Henderson and Josh Russell all had one hit.

Nolan Holland took the mound in the second game for the Strykers and pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs and struck out five to pick up his third win of the year. Bumann had a double and two RBIs in the game.

The Woodlands play their final home game of the regular season tomorrow against the Cane Cutters at 7:05pm.
