THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth as they win their last regular season home game of the season, 4-2.

The Woodlands took two of three from the second place Cane Cutters. Josh Russell led off the eighth inning with a single and Ryan Wadkins followed him with a hit by pitch. After Cody Staab advanced the runners a base, Mitchell Bumann hit a 2-run single that gave the Strykers the lead. Bumann had 3 RBIs for the game.

Taylor Rich came on in relief to pick up his first win of the year. The Woodlands will finish out the year in Acadiana as they play their final two games of the season on the road. If the Strykers finish fourth in the TCL, they will play a one game playoff in Bryan against the Brazos Valley Bombers on Saturday at 7:05pm.
