THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Nolan Holland gave his team nine innings of shutout ball as the Woodlands swept the Texas Marshals, 4-0.
Holland faced only six batters over the minimum as he scattered three hits and three walks for his second win of the year. He also struck out a season-high eight as and lowered his ERA to 2.39 for the year.
The Woodlands will take two days off before they travel to the Brazos Valley to take on the Bombers on Friday and Saturday. The next home game is Friday against the Texas Marshals at 7:05pm.
