The Woodlands High School Highlander Varsity Baseball Team competes in District 15-6A. Home of the 2006 National Champions and 2000, 2006, 2013 Texas State Champions.
The TWHS Highlander Baseball Team is led by Head Coach Ron Eastman. Coach Eastman enters his 20th season as the Head Baseball Coach of The Woodlands High School, and is the coach with the most wins in Highlander history with a record 460-147 and 14 district championships. Eastman’s overall record in 27 years as a head coach is 602-263. In 2013, the Highlanders won their 3rd state title and he was named the National High School Coach of the Year for the third time.
2019 was another stellar year for the Highlanders. The Highlanders were District Champions and Regional Semi Finalists. Coach Eastman notched his 600th win. In June, Coach Eastman coached Team Texas in the Inaugural High School Baseball National Championship, held in Houston.
Scotland Yard is the home of Highlander Baseball and in 2005 was named the top high school baseball field in the country by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association and Baseball America.
