About Us
The Woodlands High School Highlander Varsity Baseball Team competes in District 13-6A. Home of the 2006 National Champions and 2000, 2006, 2013 Texas State Champions.
The TWHS Highlander Baseball Team is led by Head Coach Ron Eastman. Coach Eastman enters his 24th season as the Head Baseball Coach of The Woodlands High School, and is the coach with the most wins in Highlander history with over 700 wins in his career.
Scotland Yard is the home of Highlander Baseball and in 2005 was named the top high school baseball field in the country by the National High School Baseball Coaches Association and Baseball America.
An up-and-down 2024 season saw the Highlanders go on lengthy losing streaks that jeopardized the team's chances of making the postseason before the heart of district play had even started. Luckily, the Highlanders found their stride and rattled off important wins to secure the final, 4th place spot in the standings.
An exciting series against Aldine got The Woodlands moving through the playoffs before a grueling three game series against Bridgeland sent the Highlanders packing.
Loads of talent will return for The Woodlands during the 2025 season, setting up the team for a likely run at the 2025 District title.
