Sonya Davis, MDDr. Sonya Davis is a board-certified medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologist practicing for the past 12 years in the Spring, TX area. She focuses on quality and preventive skin care that is personalized for each patient's needs. She believes healthy skin is attractive skin and she addresses your skin's condition with a comprehensive skincare plan.Dr. Davis earned h er medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. She then completed her internship at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC and served as a chief resident in her final year of dermatology residency from Howard University Hospital. Additionally, she completed a laser and cosmetic fellowship with Advanced Dermatology P.C. in New York. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatologic Society, Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Sonya Davis enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.Nhan Nguyen, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon from Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical/biochemical engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University. He received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno. He went on to complete a postdoctoral dermatology clinical research fellowship at Columbia University and dermatology residency at New York Medical College in New York City. He continued his training with an additional year as a Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellow under the direction of Dr. Leonard Goldberg at Houston Methodist and DermSurgery Associates in Houston, Texas. Dr. Nguyen has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.Sonal Parikh, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who specializes in the treatment of skin cancer. She was born and raised in Long Island, NY, then received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated summa cum laude and with University Honors from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she also minored in psychology, Spanish, and chemistry. She stayed in Richmond and earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Parikh spent a year with Columbia University Medical Center's department of Dermatology completing a Cutaneous Oncology Research fellowship. After medical school, she stayed at VCU Health to complete her internship in Internal Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Connecticut Health in Farmington, Connecticut, and served as Chief Resident her final year. She then completed her Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX, where she trained under the internationally renowned Dr. Leonard Goldberg.Denise Hixon, PA-C, is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She graduated from University of Houston with a B.S. in Science with a Biology Major, and received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from University of North Texas, Health Science Center.
