Dr. Alejandra Palmeros-Irvine, M.D. - IKP Family Medicine

Dr. Alejandra Palmeros-Irvine grew up in South Texas and speaks both English and Spanish. Her family moved from Mexico to Laredo, Texas when she was 4 years old. Since the she has become acclimated to her environment like a true Texan.

 

For her undergraduate studies, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science. She went on to pursue a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. It was at this time that she met her husband and partner, Timothy E. Irvine. She received her medical degree in 1997

 

Dr. Palmeros-Irvine continued her training and completed internship and residency at UTMB's Family Practice Residency Program in Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas

 

She moved to Houston with her husband in June of 2000. She began her career working “relief” for medical offices around the greater Houston area and surrounding cities. In October 2001, she joined a private practice and helped in establishing a practice in The Woodlands, Texas.

 

In August 2005, she partnered with her husband, Dr. Timothy E. Irvine and long time friend and colleague, Dr. Rohit Kashyap to establish IKP Family Medicine in Northwest Houston.

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Palmeros-Irvine enjoys spending time and raising her children, Gabriella, Isabel and Christian.
