Give your child a strong foundation in special effects! Students will learn essential VFX editing techniques, create stunning digital effects, and produce their own action-packed skits!
Each day brings multiple new topics and projects, ranging from explosions, clones, and even super powers!
Key Skills:
Keyframes & Tracking - Use keyframes to animate and track effects with precision.
Speed Ramping - Control video speed for dynamic, dramatic motion effects.
Masking - Layer video elements for seamless composite visuals.
Green Screens - Utilize green screens to blend and overlay different scenes.
Perspective Scaling - Change object sizes to create unique perspective effects.
Motion Effects - Adjust motion for an enhanced action and flow in scenes.
Camp Breakdown
Day 1 - Explosions & Powers - Students will jump into the world of special effects, learning the basics of video editing with an explosion project. They'll get acquainted with our editing software, explore the history of special effects, and create 'Fire Hands' using keyframes and tracking.
Day 2 - Clones & Skits - On day 2, students will dive deeper into special effects, mastering skills like masking to create clones of themselves and using green screens for seamless effects. They'll end the day using these new skills to create a VFX-filled scene.
Day 3 - Giants - On Day 3, students finalize their skits from the previous day. They then learn perspective and scaling techniques to make themselves appear as giants on screen, culminating in a showcase of their work at the Creator Camp Oscars!
