Year after year, Cordovan Art School sets the standard for creative art camps in The Woodlands and the Greater Houston area. Choose from more than 30 exciting themed camps, including Live Animals, Video Game Art, Super Heroes & Villains, Fantasy Art, Space Art, Pets, Pokémon, Underwater & Sea Life, Anime, and more. Campers explore a wide range of artistic techniques and materials such as mixed media, chalk, pencil, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, papier-mâché, clay, pottery, and beyond-making every camp a hands-on, inspiring experience.
We are bringing back a fan-favorite, so sign up early as it will sell out. Get messy as you learn about the fundamentals of clay sculpture. You will make your very own pinch pots, slab-built vases, animal sculptures, and other creative masterpieces from scratch! You'll learn how to problem-solve in a fun and relaxing environment. After you've turned mud into a masterpiece, you will glaze your new pieces with cool techniques using colors, patterns, and designs. (Allow 3 weeks for firing your clay pieces at the end of camp before pickup).
