The Psychology of Color

A 2-Hour Hands-On Workshop

Why does one shade of blue feel calming while another feels cold? Why do certain colors immediately capture our attention?

In this interactive, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the psychology of color and how it influences mood, emotion, and perception. Discover what our responses to color may be hardwired, shaped by culture, or influenced by personal experiences through guided gallery exploration and a series of quick, engaging exercises.

You’ll leave with a new perspective on how color can shape the way we feel and see the world, plus a small original artwork you create yourself using provided materials and inspired by a feeling of your choice.

Whether you’re an artist, designer, writer, or simply curious about color and creativity, this workshop is open to everyone. No previous art experience is necessary.
