Special Bench Dedication — 11:00 a.m.
Before the tour begins, we invite the community to gather at the Montgomery “New” Cemetery for a special memorial remembrance and bench dedication honoring Pat Spackey, beloved as the “Texas Flag Lady.” As the great-great-great-granddaughter of Dr. Charles B. Stewart, designer of the Texas flag, Pat carried forward a treasured legacy and helped preserve the stories, heritage, and spirit of Texas for generations to come.
