Presented by the Montgomery Historical Society, this festive community celebration features a full day of holiday shopping, family fun, Christmas traditions, and one of Montgomery’s most beloved annual events.

Lone Star Christmas Parade

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season as the annual Lone Star Christmas Parade makes its way through historic Montgomery.

36th Annual Cookie Walk

Fill a box with delicious decorated holiday cookies and candies while supplies last. Cookies are $10 per pound.

49th Annual Candlelight Home Tour

4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Experience the beauty and history of Montgomery during the Candlelight Home Tour. Tour historic churches, treasured homes, landmarks, and Ferland Historical Park illuminated by warm luminaria light.

Tickets: $15 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children ages 4 and under.

Home tour tickets can be purchased online at mhs-tx.org or at the N.H. Davis Museum, 14264 Liberty Street.

The Cookie Walk and Candlelight Home Tour are signature fundraising events supporting the Montgomery Historical Society’s mission to preserve and share the history and culture of Montgomery, Texas. Proceeds help maintain historic MHS buildings and provide scholarships to deserving seniors at Montgomery’s two high schools.
