About The Champion Project (TCP)

Our annual Love Big event is a night of impact for some of the most vulnerable youth in our community. The Champion Project is a 501(c)(3) organization that mobilizes faith-based communities to support youth in foster care living in 24/7 staffed group homes—today’s alternative to traditional orphanages. Through mentoring, one-on-one tutoring, and our Book Bus, we bring caring adults, educational support, stability, and consistency into the lives of youth who need it most.

Gifts to Love Big will help The Champion Project expand across Texas, bringing mentoring and tutoring to more youth in foster care. Our partnership gives young people trusted adults in their corner, the support to reach grade level, and the confidence to pursue their dreams.
