Are you looking for fun, hands-on weekday activities for your children? Drop by our Pop-Up Science station every Thursday from 10am – 12pm for exciting, interactive learning:
November 5th- Pumpkin Boats
Can you build a boat that floats and carries a pumpkin? Stop by our Pop-Up Science station to explore early science concepts like floating and sinking, balance, and problem-solving, and use your creativity to design boats with popsicle sticks.
November 12th – Rock Detectives
Stop by our Pop-Up Science station to compare and sort a variety of real rocks! Children will use their senses to observe how rocks are alike and different, and use simple science vocabulary to explain their discoveries.
November 19th – Does It Roll?
Ready, set, roll! Children will investigate what makes objects move by sending different objects down a ramp. Through hands-on experimentation, they’ll make predictions, test their ideas, and discover that objects can roll at different speeds depending on their shape.
