Board certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine, Dr. Lim graduated, magna cum laude, from Seoul National University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. He completed his internship training in medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Additionally, he completed his residency in medicine and another fellowship in cardiology at State University of New York Health Sciences in Brooklyn, New York.

Among his academic appointments, Dr. Lim served as Clinical Instructor of Medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Clinical Instructor of Cardiology at State University of New York at Buffalo and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Kansas University School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas.

Before joining the Memorial Hermann Medical Group in 2012, he practiced cardiology in Kansas City, Missouri.

Fluent in Korean, Dr. Lim encourages his patients to live healthy lifestyles, and helps them to better understand their conditions so they can be actively involved in decisions about their health. Among his clinical interests are coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, nuclear, invasive and general cardiology along with preventive medicine.

Dr. Lim enjoys traveling, hiking in the mountains and experiencing nature.
