He completed his internship training in medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Additionally, he completed his residency in medicine and another fellowship in cardiology at State University of New York Health Sciences in Brooklyn, New York.
Among his academic appointments, Dr. Lim served as Clinical Instructor of Medicine at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Clinical Instructor of Cardiology at State University of New York at Buffalo and Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Kansas University School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas.
Before joining the Memorial Hermann Medical Group in 2012, he practiced cardiology in Kansas City, Missouri.
