Description
Victoria Carlsbad, Austria, antique porcelain fish and floral 8.5” plates, set of 9, 5 different fish. Also in this set is a HUGE serving or decorative scalloped bowl on a stand 35" x 9" x 3.5" deep along with a gravy boat. Fantastic detail! These dishes were produced in Altrohlau, Austria (now Stará Role, Czech Republic) by the Moritz Zdekauer company. Hand painted.
The plates have a scalloped and molded rim, trimmed in gold with a deep red or burgundy border.
Each plate is stamped with The mark "Victoria Carlsbad Austria", which was used from around 1891 to 1918. The plates are in excellent condition for their age with no chips breaks cracks or crazing. A small bit of the gold edging is missing.
