Description
Beautiful traditional wingback chair with a very sturdy, well-made frame and classic styling.
This chair was purchased at auction because of the quality of its construction and was subsequently professionally reupholstered in a handsome striped fabric featuring warm red, gold, brown and black tones.
Approximately $500 invested in the chair and reupholstery.
The chair is extremely sturdy and comfortable, with a high back, traditional wings, rolled arms and solid wood legs. The upholstery is in excellent condition.
This is an older, quality-built piece—not lightweight modern furniture—and would make a great reading chair or accent chair for a living room, den, study, office or bedroom.
