2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300
Very clean, well-maintained 2016 Mercedes GLC 300 with approximately 146K miles. Fully paid off. Extensive service records available.
This has been a great vehicle and very well maintained throughout my ownership. I’m selling because I’m ready for a larger vehicle. If I were keeping it, I would repair the current issue myself, but I’ve decided not to put additional money into a vehicle I’m planning to replace.
Recent Maintenance
- Brand-new tires & wheels installed within the last few months
- Alternator & serpentine belt replaced in 2025
- Rear brakes & rotors replaced in 2025
- Regular oil changes & scheduled maintenance
- Extensive service history
- Always used premium fuel
Known Issue — Priced Accordingly
The vehicle currently has an intermittent transmission issue where it can shift from Drive into Neutral and go into limp mode.
Codes: P073E & P07B7
It was inspected by a transmission specialist, who diagnosed the issue as the valve body/TCM (transmission control module) needing repair or replacement and programming.
No metal shavings were found, and the mechanic did not identify evidence of an internal transmission failure.
There is also a recommended oil-pump actuator/valve repair that can be addressed while doing the other work.
I am selling the vehicle as-is and pricing it accordingly. This could be a great opportunity for a Mercedes enthusiast, mechanic, or someone who has access to reasonable repair costs.
Condition
Very clean inside and out for its age and mileage. A few normal age-related scratches/nicks. Small imperfection on driver’s seat shown in photos.
I’m being completely upfront about the vehicle and its current condition. This is NOT a junk car or parts car. It’s a well-maintained Mercedes that I’m choosing to sell rather than repair because I’m moving to a larger vehicle.
