1964 Johnson 9.5 HP Sea-Horse Outboard Motor (Model MQ-10R) – Untested, Turns Over
Was serviced in 2019 or 2020
• Condition: Untested. I have not personally run the engine, but the motor does turn over freely and is not seized. It is being sold exactly as-is. Just minor scratches through normal wear and tear.
• Transom Clamp Note: One of the transom mounting clamps has a broken wing-nut handle. It currently has a temporary fix using a standard hex bolt and epoxy/weld compound (see photos) so it can still be tightened down, but a buyer may want to replace the clamp bracket or screw down the line it does work as is though.
• Fuel Requirements: Runs on a 50:1 gas-to-oil mix (Regular gas with TC-W3 2-stroke marine oil).
Great candidate for a winter project, a parts motor, or a quick tune-up to get it back on the water.
Will do a bill of sale if wanted.
