Weber Genesis LP Gas Barbecue. Always garaged. I'm not much of a griller and need the space back. Works great but could use new Flavorizer bars - $38 on Amazon - Htanch Flavorizer Bars. Comes with the manual, a Weber cover and an unopened set of BBQ utensils but no LP gas tank. $75 cash

The Weber Genesis 1000 Liquid Propane (LP) Gas Barbecue is a highly celebrated vintage grill originally manufactured in the early 1990s. Renowned by grilling enthusiasts for its exceptionally durable, "overbuilt" construction, it represents the foundational era of Weber's modern gas line.

Burner & Heating Architecture

3-Burner System: Unlike modern grills where burners run left-to-right, the Genesis 1000 features three stainless steel burners that run front-to-back
Crossover Ignition System: Features a push-button mechanical ignitor that requires no battery and pairs with a Gas Catcher Ignition Chamber to seamlessly light all burners.
Side-Mounted Controls: The three burner adjustment knobs are mounted on the right-hand control console rather than the front face.
Cooking Components
13 Flavorizer Bars: The grill is famous for having a heavy-duty, double-tier setup totaling 13 steel Flavorizer bars. This design maximizes the vaporization of food drippings for flavor while safely routing excess fat away to prevent flare-ups.
Heavy Gauge Porcelain-on-Steel Lid: A thick, heat-retaining hood designed to seal in heat for efficient cooking.
Cooking Grates & Warming Spaces: Equipped with durable cooking grates (originally porcelain-on-steel or stainless steel depending on the sub-trim) along with a specialized Weber Warm-Up Basket for secondary warming space.
