In this three-day camp, young creators learn stop motion animation by bringing bugs, critters, and tiny creatures to life using LEGO figures, paper puppets, and simple craft materials.

Each day, campers build small characters, design mini sets, and animate movement frame-by-frame using Stop Motion Studio. They explore how posing, sequencing, and creativity turn tiny creatures into fun animated scenes, ending with a finished mini-movie they proudly share.

Camp Breakdown

Day 1 - Meet the Creatures - Campers learn how stop motion works and create their first paper or LEGO creature. They practice frame-by-frame photos and animate simple motions like crawling, hopping, or slithering.

Day 2 - Build the Bug World - Students design tiny backdrops, leaf forests, gardens, deserts, or underground bug homes, and animate scenes inside them. They explore expression, acting, and personality through movement.

Day 3 - The Creature Feature - Campers film a short animated scene using their characters, props, and sets. The camp ends with a celebratory Oscars where creators share their films with the group.
