Our annual two week summer ballet intensive is curated to enrich the training of serious ballet students by offering appropriate and challenging instruction according to level. This cross-disciplinary intensive will focus primarily on various forms of conditioning and stretch, ballet technique, repertoire, and pointe/variations for advanced students, along with classes in contemporary, jazz, Broadway, and more. Plus, amazing scholarship giveaways and an in-house performance at the end of the intensive for 2 week attendees! Faculty will include guest master teachers from professional ballet/contemporary companies, performers currently on Broadway, as well as our own incredible faculty - view last year's 2025 intensive faculty below! The intensive will occur Monday-Friday, June 1-12, tentatively 9am-3pm, with reduced hours for the Emerald (youngest) level. For dancers unable to attend the full two weeks, the daily drop in rate per day will apply, however please note the 2-week eligibility requirements for final day performance and scholarships. Classes are for experienced dancers ages 7 and up, and students will be split by age/level. Fees will not be processed until level is determined. Sibling discounts apply! See "level determination" below.
LEVELS
There are four levels: Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, and Diamond (in order from early-learning to advanced/pre-pro). Levels for current TADA ballet students will be assigned by Ballet Director Miss Amy Leonards. For all other participants or non-TADA students, we welcome a video, private audition, or outside teacher recommendation to determine level - please email Miss Amy Leonards at ballet@dancetada.com to do so.
ELIGIBILTY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS + IN-HOUSE SHOW
Students attending the entire 2 week intensive only are eligible to be voted on by faculty to receive various scholarships to next year's intensives and more; they are also permitted to participate in the in-house performance on the last day.
