Art Adventure Lab is a hands-on creative camp designed for young artists in 2nd–4th grade to build confidence while learning foundational art skills. Throughout the week, students explore line, pattern, stenciling, collage, texture, and painting through guided discussions and engaging projects.
Each day introduces a new artistic concept and allows students to experiment with materials while developing technique and creative independence. Highlights include a stencil self-portrait where students design and “dress” a paper doll version of themselves, and a textured bird painting that teaches brushwork and layering.
By the end of the week, campers combine all learned skills into a final mixed-media masterpiece. Students leave not only with finished artwork, but with stronger artistic confidence and a deeper understanding of how art is built from simple elements.
