Bird Photography Experience: Field to Frame
Step into the world of bird photography with an immersive, hands-on class designed to help you capture stunning wildlife images in real-world conditions. This experience focuses on building your confidence and skill in the field, with expert guidance every step of the way.
Led by OM System Photographer Mike Amico, this class emphasizes practical techniques for photographing birds in their natural habitats. You’ll learn how to read behavior, anticipate movement, and work with natural light to capture sharp, compelling images—whether your subject is perched or in flight.
The experience takes place at Wild Bird Adventures, offering a dynamic setting to observe and photograph a variety of bird species up close. Participants will have access to OM System loaner gear, giving you the opportunity to try professional cameras and telephoto lenses designed for wildlife photography.
Sean Halloran from Precision Camera and Video will also be on-site throughout the session to assist participants, answer questions, and provide additional hands-on support as you refine your technique in the field.
