Harpist Laurie Meister has earned a reputation as one of the Houston music community’s most sought-after live performers. With an impressive career spanning Houston’s premier performing arts stages, Laurie brings elegance, artistry, and exceptional musicianship to every performance.
Laurie serves as Principal Harp of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO) and previously held the position of Acting Principal Harp with Houston Grand Opera. She has also performed regularly with the Houston Ballet and Houston Symphony orchestras.
Beyond the concert stage, Laurie performs at Houston’s finest venues for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, holiday events, and special occasions. Her beautiful harp music creates an elegant atmosphere and adds a memorable touch to events of all kinds.
Laurie is also passionate about music education. She maintains a private studio of harp students and brings extensive teaching experience to masterclasses, clinics, festivals, and summer camps, inspiring students of all ages to discover the artistry and beauty of the harp.
