THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- With more than 337 branches in 17 states, The Woodlands Financial Group is updating its consumer outreach materials to better reflect the national scope of its business.

Gordy Bunch, founder, president, and CEO of TWFG reports that his insurance services firm is now ranked at number 28 in Insurance Journal’s “Top 100” list of the 38,000 agencies in the United States. It is also ranked number one in the states of Texas and Louisiana for personal lines’ homeowners and auto insurance.

The company is now introducing a totally reconstructed web site, TWFG.com, that will allow existing and prospective customers to find their local agent, review available personal and small business insurance products from hundreds of carriers, make claims, and even provide opportunities to join the TWFG team. Bunch has built his business on the concept that offering customers choices from multiple carriers can lower their costs and increase their protection. TWFG has also created its own carrier via its new wholly-owned TWICO insurance company, licensed in the state of Texas.

Since the company was formed here in 2001, it has expanded its TWFG branches primarily in Texas, California and Louisiana. In 2017 Bunch created a marketing office in New Jersey to attract new agents and clients in the Mid-Atlantic States. Individual TWFG branches now reach almost every corner of the nation with insurance service offices in the northwestern state of Washington, southward into Mississippi, east into Delaware and the District of Columbia, and down into Florida.

To manage and service more than 300 branches with hundreds of thousands of customers, TWFG is expanding its national headquarters located in the office complex atop The Woodlands Mall. Concurrently, its headquarters staff now has been expanded to more than 100 professionals. As his promise to customers, employees, and fellow-professionals, Gordy Bunch has headlined the company’s new website and collateral materials with his personal and business axiom, “Our Policy is Caring.”
