HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Dennis Ray PACE, 45, affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT) gang, was taken into custody on August 20, 2020, in Channelview, Texas.

Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested PACE at a residence in Channelview. The multi-agency investigation also included assistance provided from DPS Highway Patrol, TDCJ-Office of Inspector General, and the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

In 2001, PACE was convicted in Harris County of two counts of Aggravated Robbery. He was subsequently sentenced to 30 years in TDCJ prison.

PACE was last released on parole from TDCJ in September 2017.

PACE had been wanted since March 27, 2020, after authorities in Harris County issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

On April 3, 2020, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for PACE’s arrest.

The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
