Goode Company Restaurants Donates to Wade Smith Foundation

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Goode Company Restaurants recently presented a check to Wade Smith of the Wade Smith Foundation for money raised for the non-profit as part of their Goode Gameday promotion, a tailgating event held during local Houston Texans football games. The Wade Smith Foundation supports community youth programs in the Greater Houston and Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex Areas and focuses on literacy and education.

The check was presented at a happy hour event which included light bites and cocktails, including spirits from Jim Beam.

“We are so very thankful for the partnership The Wade Smith Foundation and Goode Company was able to forge in the midst of a unprecedented pandemic. The dollars generated through our Goode Game Day Tailgate events will fund students that show academic excellence, as well as community investment, as part of our Smitty’s Scholarship program,” says Wade Smith. “These funds will directly help Houston Area students further their academic journey at the university level. We are very thankful to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and of course the attendees that helped make these memorable events possible, in a fun, safe and secure manner.”
