Child Predator Convicted

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Defendant: James Alexander Mills (23 year old male) is from Huntsville, TX.

In April of 2018 the defendant traveled from Huntsville, TX to the Woodlands, TX to meet with a 13 year old female for sexual purposes. The defendant solicited the 13 year old via social media. Pct. 3 Detectives were able to intercept the defendant and take him into custody. After an investigation, detectivw found the defendant was also in possession of child pornography. The child in the pornographic images was identified and the defendant was found to have attempted to meet this child for sexual purposes as well. On May 11, 2021, the defendant plead] guilty to Possession of Child Pomograpghy and was sentenced to 4 years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
