THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) today announced that Lancium Technologies Corp., an energy technology and infrastructure firm, will locate its corporate headquarters in The Woodlands®. The company will lease a full floor at The Woodlands Towers at The Waterway®, occupying 26,530 square feet at 9950 Woodloch Forest Drive.

The new corporate headquarters, anticipated to open in late spring 2022, will house executive, power trading and engineering offices for Lancium.

Lancium’s selection of the iconic, Class AAA office tower represents the second full-floor lease at 9950 Woodloch Forest Drive within the last 30 days, continuing the strong momentum for the 31-story office tower, which, along with the 32-story 1201 Lake Robbins Tower, overlooks the 1.8-mile, award-winning The Woodlands Waterway.

“As a leading company in the energy technology and infrastructure space, it made sense to locate our headquarters in The Woodlands—a community that is at the heart of the energy transition,” said Michael McNamara, co-founder and CEO of Lancium Technologies Corp. “The Woodlands is an ideal business community given the outstanding pool of talent, quality of life and amenities and will certainly be a draw as Lancium continues to grow and recruit from around the country.”

Located in the heart of The Woodlands Town Center overlooking The Woodlands Waterway, 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower is a LEED Silver Certified office building. With a focus on health and wellness, amenities include a two-story, 19,000-square-foot fitness center with a basketball court and a multi-purpose rooftop terrace spanning 33,000 square feet. The office tower features a 9,000-square-foot conference facility and is within walking distance to world-class shopping, dining and entertainment.

“We are extremely pleased that Lancium has selected The Woodlands for their new headquarters,” said Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region for The Howard Hughes Corporation. “This innovative infrastructure and technology development company continues our strong leasing momentum and joins the growing number of renowned businesses which have chosen to make their home in The Woodlands and provide to their team members with an ideal blend of urban amenities, an active outdoor lifestyle, and the opportunity to reside in the best community to live in America.”

The new Lancium lease follows the full-floor lease recently signed at 9950 Woodloch Forest Drive by NYDIG, the innovative bitcoin company. Both leases represent an expansion of businesses from Houston to The Woodlands.

Lancium was represented by Aradio Zambrano of Aradio Zambrano Real Estate Company. The Howard Hughes Corporation was represented by Bob Parsley, Norm Munoz, Jillian Fredricks and Connor Duffy with Colliers.
