Serious Vehicle Collision in The Woodlands Prompts Rescue Operation

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At 6:41 a.m. Thursday, The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District responded to a reported collision with possible entrapment at the intersection of Branch Crossing and Sterling Ridge.

Units including Engine 105, Truck 105, Battalion 102, and Medic 24 arrived on scene and discovered one individual with significant injuries trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters quickly utilized rescue tools to remove a door and safely extract the patient, who was transported in urgent condition to a nearby hospital.

Three other individuals involved in the incident were evaluated on scene by first responders but declined medical treatment.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the collision.
