MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On March 9, 2026, Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Division VICE Unit successfully recovered a missing juvenile and arrested two suspects following a specialized human trafficking investigation.

While working a missing juvenile case, detectives discovered online advertisements on illicit prostitution-related websites which depicted the missing juvenile alongside an unidentified adult female. Contact was made with the individuals and a meeting was arranged at a local hotel located in Montgomery County.

MCSO Detectives, along with the help of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Special Agents, located the suspects’ vehicle that was occupied by two adult females and the missing juvenile.

Following the initial investigation, the two adult females with the juvenile were identified as 20-year-old Norma Lewis and 20-year-old Niasia Harrell, from Houston, TX. They were both arrested and charged with Trafficking of a Child, a first-degree felony, and were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The juvenile victim was safely recovered and was immediately provided with medical care and support services before being released to the juvenile’s parents. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to the protection of our youth and the aggressive prosecution of those who participate in organized crime and human trafficking.
