If it’s true that ‘April showers bring May flowers,’ things should soon be in bloom, as our shiny weather will give way to rain on Wednesday and lasting for the rest of the week. We’re definitely in spring, and there’s plenty of flinging to do with the amazing events throughout The Woodlands. Here are a few ideas to get you started! Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce today for an H-Town Roundup event hosted by The Woodlands Innovation Network. The program will include a networking social plus presentations and panel discussions including industry and financial leaders. This event will take place at the Kevin Brady Community Center.

The Texas Jazz Orchestra featuring Eric Marienthal will take the stage at Dosey Doe - The Big Barn tonight but be sure to show up extra early – as early as 5:30 p.m. – to grab a delicious dinner from the kitchen before the show. Tickets start as low as $15.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum’s Boogie Bash today at 11:00 a.m. presents Dragons, Knights, and Castles, Oh My! Your kiddos will be exploring the medieval world of castles, knights, dragons, lords, and ladies. Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

A Sunset Egg Scramble is taking place tonight starting at 6:30 p.m. at Cranebrook Park, hosted by The Woodlands Township Parks & Recreation Department. The fee per child is $15 Resident and $20 Non-Resident. Fee includes an egg hunt and a prize for the participant who finds the golden egg. Hunt will start promptly 15 minutes after event start time to allow time for check in, which will occur at the pavilion.

Do you own a Canon camera but don't feel like you’re making the most of it? You’re not alone! Precision Camera has the class for you. This course is geared for all cameras in the Canon system with emphasis on all Canon cameras with SCN or scenes features. You will be reviewing and learning all basic features of the Canon System so that you can get off the Green Mode and get the most out of your camera. You will learn how to shoot in all the different modes of your camera, as well as how to know which mode to use in different situations. They will also go over all the buttons on your camera and how to use them.

At iCode’s Jr Creator : Discovering Electronics & Game Development - 1 Day Camp, students will learn the fundamentals of hardware and software manipulation by building circuits using Makey Makey. After becoming familiar with the fundamentals of electrical engineering, students will develop games that will be played with and by other students.

EggTivities at The Woodlands Children’s Museum is taking place Friday, April 3, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 4, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. EggTivities features a special DIY photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny! Children will delight in creating a bunny mask, while dyeing a real hard boiled egg and embellishing a bunny box to carry the egg. Member and Non-Member Children 0-13 $6 plus admission.

Saturday, April 4
Held each Easter Saturday along The Woodlands Waterway, Run and Done 3.1 is a chip-timed race produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and sanctioned by USA Track and Field (USATF). The scenic course winds through The Waterway, offering a festive and fun atmosphere for runners of all abilities. The race is recommended for ages 10 and older. After the race, registered participants and their guests can enjoy an egg hunt in Town Green Park.

Enjoy live music by local and regional performers in the picturesque setting of Waterway Square with Waterway Nights. With a mix of genres and a vibrant Town Center atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to spend an evening in The Woodlands. Tonight, Shakira tribute band SheWolf takes the stage.
