Family Fun for Easter Weekend in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Whether or not you commemorate the Easter holiday, the rearrival of spring and the feeling of rebirth is for everybody. We encourage all Woodlanders to step out for the long weekend and celebrate the breath of fresh air before summer madness hits. Here are some fun Easter-themed events for all to enjoy!

Good Friday Egg Surprise at Chick-fil-A
Hop through Chick-fil-A at 720 Sawdust Rd. on Good Friday for something extra-special. Every car that comes through the drive-thru lane 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. will receive an egg filled with a surprise.

All Ages Family Day at Painting With a Twist
Children and adults are invited to join in the painting fun at Family Day/All Ages classes at Painting With a Twist. Today you and your little Picassos can paint “My Easter Peeps.” If your child is painting and you choose not to participate, you are welcome to sit with them, provided there is available seating.Allow your children to discover their own creativity, applaud their effort, and encourage their journey

Kayak Egg Hunt at Riva Row Boathouse
Take your traditional egg hunt to the water with this unique opportunity to hunt for eggs by kayak! Eggs will be “hidden” along the waterway. Stay after the event for an egg-citing surprise. Preregistration is required. Fee per two-person tandem kayak is $50.

EggTivities at The Woodlands Children’s Museum
EggTivities features a special DIY photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny! Children will delight in creating a bunny mask, while dyeing a real hard boiled egg and embellishing a bunny box to carry the egg. Member and non-member children 0 - 13 $6 plus admission.

Easter Egg Hunt at Kanga's Woodlands
Get ready for some egg-citing family fun! Join Kanga’s for their annual Easter Egg Hunt, where kids can enjoy a day filled with games, prizes, and plenty of surprises, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. each day.

Easter Eggstravaganza at The Village at The Woodlands Waterway
Experience the magic of the Easter season with a hoppy egg hunt for hidden treasures. Enjoy Easter treats and light bites, and strike a pose at their festive photo booth. Bring family and friends to celebrate the arrival of spring, mingle with their friendly team and residents, and experience the vibrant lifestyle at their community. Egg hunt starts promptly at 2:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 4
Easter Egg Hunt at T.E.A.M. Abilities
T.E.A.M. Abilities will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic for the Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) community from noon to 3:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will include an Easter egg hunt, picnic, music, and opportunities to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny. The event is designed to bring together individuals with special needs, their families, caregivers, and members of the community for a day of fun, connection, and celebration. The annual Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic is offered free-of-charge and is open to all ages of the IDD Special Needs community along with their families.

Saturday, April 4
Run & Done 3.1 5K Race
Held each Easter Saturday along The Woodlands Waterway, Run and Done 3.1 is a chip-timed race produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and sanctioned by USA Track and Field (USATF). The scenic course winds through The Waterway, offering a festive and fun atmosphere for runners of all abilities. The race is recommended for ages 10 and older. After the race, registered participants and their guests can enjoy an egg hunt in Town Green Park!

Family Easter Celebration at The Woodlands Methodist Church
Join NextGen Kids for egg hunts and family fun at the Family Easter Celebration. Children ages 0 - 10 will enjoy egg hunts, and families can engage with the Easter story through an interactive, hands-on experience.

Sunday, April 5
Texas-Sized Egg Hunt at Woodlands Church
Woodlands Church invites you and your family to share in the wonder of Easter. Be a part of a life-changing experience: enjoy an uplifting message, powerful music and a welcoming and friendly environment for all. There will be a series of Easter Egg Hunts at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., with the one o’clock hunt being specially catered for special needs individuals.
