7 fun ways to relieve your tax season stress
THE WOODLANDS, TX – We’re less than a week away from the April 15 deadline to file your 2025 taxes. To call this period ‘stressful’ would be an understatement at the federal level. Whether you’re surrounded by mounds of paperwork, going crosseyed at a computer screen, or spending your available time collecting records and receipts to dump on your accountant’s desk, chances are your stress levels are mounting by the minute.
Woodlands Online would like to encourage you to take a breath and relax as best as you can. We have a special event for each day between now and the deadline next Wednesday that can help unload some of the tension without taking you away too far or too long from your tax-filing burden. Check these selections out, and be sure to tell them we sent you!
Thursday
Get the okay to upgrade your house at the Residential Design Review Committee meeting
Are you expecting a windfall return on your filing? Maybe you’ll want to use that surprise dough to build a pool or install a rock garden. In The Woodlands, there’s a procedure for that. Each village in the Township has a Residential Design Review Committee that meets at least once a month to review property owners’ applications for modifications or additions to their properties. All meetings are held in person at the Township Office building.
