Top Things to Do This Week in The Woodlands – April 20 - 26, 2026
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week..” – George S. Patton
Well, the good news is, some of our high temperatures this week will only be in the 70s. The bad news is, those cooler temps will be accompanied by rain and thunderstorms. It’s good to have options when planning what to do for the week, and Woodlands Online has you covered with some selections. Be sure to stay tuned throughout the week for news on weather-related cancellations!
Monday, April 20
Bokeh is more than just ‘blurry lights’ – it’s a powerful creative tool that can instantly elevate a portrait from ordinary to unforgettable. In Precision Camera’s hands-on Light Trix workshop, you’ll learn how to intentionally create soft, glowing bokeh backgrounds that add depth, mood, and visual impact to your portraits. A live model will be present, giving you the opportunity to apply these techniques in real time and build portfolio-worthy images. This is a fully interactive workshop designed for photographers who want to move beyond accidental bokeh and start creating it with intention.

Yappy Hours will provide enlightening sessions to equip participants with valuable insights into how dog-walking routines can play a pivotal role in aiding law enforcement efforts. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Unit or Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 4 will be onsite to explain how attendees can be more alert of their surroundings, how to effectively observe and identify/report suspicious activity.
