Market Street donates $10,500 to Community Assistance Center

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As part of its Change for Charity initiative, Market Street recently donated $10,500 to Community Assistance Center. Community Assistance Center has been serving the Montgomery County area since 1981 and provides resources to meet basic needs and improve quality of life for residents of the county. They aim to build strong relationships with their clients and their families by assessing their individual needs during times of instability Community Assistance Center accesses community resources, establishes recovery goals, and provides opportunities to learn valuable workforce skills to create a stronger foundation for their clients to support themselves and their families.
Each quarter Market Street selects a nonprofit to benefit from the Change for Charity program, whereby Market Street patrons deposit change in the voluntary meters bordering Market Street’s Central Park. Since its inception, the program has raised more than $350,000 for local charities.
