Lone Star College-Montgomery is training tomorrow’s employees today
CONROE, TX -- The recent Kinder Houston Area Survey reported the economy is the region’s “biggest problem,” fueled by shrinking confidence in job opportunities and growing financial pressures. Lone Star College-Montgomery provides the training necessary to help students find meaningful employment leading to greater economic independence.
“We know many individuals are navigating uncertainty when it comes to their next step,” Dr. De' Reese Reid-Hart, LSC-Montgomery president. “Our role is to meet them where they are and provide clear, accessible pathways that lead to opportunity, stability, and long-term success.”
The Kinder Institute for Urban Research is an interdisciplinary research organization at Rice University in Houston which focus on the intersecting issues of housing, education, economic mobility, health and population.
Attending LSC-Montgomery provides students with access to high-quality education and meaningful opportunities to advance their future. A range of financial aid options is available to support students in covering the cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
“Our focus is on creating access and expanding opportunity for every student we serve,” said Reid-Hart. “Many of our financial aid options are designed to support students without the burden of repayment, allowing them to stay focused on their goals. With more than 85 programs of study and strong transfer partnerships, we provide clear, supportive pathways for students to begin here and confidently take their next step.”
