Oak Ridge Elementary School

Nestled in the tall pines and native hardwoods, Oak Ridge Elementary, a recognized school in Texas, is located in a quiet community ten miles south of Conroe. The twenty-seven year old school serves 550 students in grades pre-kindergarten through third. A 64 member faculty and staff are dedicated to providing an excellent learning environment that meets the needs of all children.
Oak Ridge Elementary Goals

• Oak Ridge Elementary will focus on the improvement of student achievement in an effort to close the gap between minority and/or economically deprived students and others.
• Oak Ridge Elementary students will improve their attendance at school. An effective parent-teacher-community communication system will provide increased involvement in the school.
• To develop a systematic process for diagnosing and improving the organizational health of the school.
• To develop and implement a School/Business Partnershipprogram to enhance the academic and social development ofstudents.
• To identify performance standards expected to be achieved by all Conroe ISD graduates.
