For Sale - the SmartVest Airway Clearance System by Electromed is a device designed to improve airway clearance and access for certain chronic lung conditions. Our Pulmonary Care Specialist recommended this unit for my spouse as part of an overall plan to address COPD issues. It utilizes High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) therapy in a simple to use convenient, portable machine. The included case makes it easy to transport and store. This unit has approximately 182 hours of use (which is considered "Low"). New units sell for $2,000 to $4,000. In some cases insurance (like Medicare) will cover some of the expense. However, if your doctor is recommending such treatment for you, it may be far more affordable to own a used unit outright.
