Mahogany 1922 Victrola - Antique Photos
This is an antique mahogany 1922 VV100 - 54187. The unit is in WORKING condition and is in good shape for its age, but has a few scrapes and some of the hardware needs to be replaced. - the bottom left door is missing a knob. - the bottom of the bottom right door is missing an attachment. It opens and closes fine, but this part is missing. - the mount for the hand crank is attached, but has come loose and needs to be reattached. - there is a key hole, so there must have been a key at some point but it was missing prior to my purchase (1991). - the finish on the inside is still nice and shiny, but the outside is dull. Doesn't look bad, but you can tell at one point the whole thing must have had a glossy shine. 2 sizes of needles included. Have no idea which ones are needed for which records. 15 Columbia records, 6 Victor records and 1 very thick Edison record. All range from $5-$20 each on Ebay. They are not in perfect shape, but these types of machines tend to be much more forgiving than modern models because it doesn't seem to affect play nearly as much.
