In this three-day camp, young creators step into a world of magic and imagination as they act, create, and film their own collaborative fantasy movie filled with heroes, creatures, quests, and enchanted stories.

Each day, campers build a fantastical story through improv games, visual storytelling, acting practice, and simple filmmaking. They design characters, storyboard magical scenes, explore dramatic expression, and learn beginner filmmaking basics as they bring their fantasy world to life on camera.

Camp Breakdown

Day 1 - Story Building - Campers create a collaborative fantasy storyline using improv activities like charades, mirror games, emotions prompts, mad-lib scripts, and one-sentence stories. They practice acting skills and break into small groups to begin shaping their magical scenes.

Day 2 - Behind the Scenes - Students draw storyboards, craft simple fantasy props and costumes, and learn the basics of filming. They rehearse scenes through guided games, readers theatre, and character exploration.

Day 3 - Lights, Camera, Action! - Campers rehearse, and film their scenes across their fantasy world. The camp ends with an exciting Oscars celebration where creators showcase their finished movie
