Fall into STEAM with our December POP-UP SCIENCE activities!
Are you looking for fun, hands-on weekday activities for your children? Drop by our Pop-Up Science station every Thursday from 10am – 12pm for exciting, interactive learning:
December 3rd – Candy Cane Bridges- Can you build a bridge strong enough to hold a small toy? Stop by our Pop-Up Science station and become an engineer in this STEM challenge! Using candy canes, children will design, build, test, and improve their bridges.
December 10th – Melting Snowmen- What happens when a snowman meets water? In this fun, hands-on science experiment, children will create their own “snowmen” using biodegradable packing peanuts and use water droppers to make them disappear! Children will practice fine-motor skills while exploring dissolving and cause and effect.
December 17th – Reindeer Lava Lamp- Create your own festive “lava lamp”! Children will observe what happens when oil and water mix with a fun Christmas twist and observe the colorful chemical reaction.
