Apply for Medical Billing Specialist

• Compile and submit claims to insurance companies and then subsequently bill patients
•Use coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies
•Working directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patients to process claims
and ensure payment
•Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims
•Answering patients' billing questions
•Handling collections on unpaid accounts
•Managing the facility's Accounts Receivable reports

This employee will file claims, post payments and check eligibility status. This job requires full attention and focus to get the work done. Being a self-starter and self-motivated is a requirement. Claims filing, EOB posting, and talking to patients/providers are all included as responsibilities for this position. 3-5 years of billing experience is needed. This position requires working in the local office with other staff members.
