Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of general office tasks, confidentiality, filing, medical terminology and managed care referral processes required. Knowledge of related OSHA and Joint Commission guidelines and requirements also required. The ability to provide excellent customer service, act in a professional manner, type, file, use a multi-line telephone, computer, fax, copier and adding machine also required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum one (1) year related experience required.


Overview:
Coordinate and perform patient scheduling, receive and greet visitors, answer and handle incoming calls, coordinate the referral process, enter billing information into system and transmit claims.
