Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Equipment, furniture and materials set up/take down and cleaning in designated areas for Saturday Events as scheduled (average 6-hour shifts)
-Equipment, furniture and materials set up/take down and cleaning in designated areas weekly as scheduled with the Facilities Director
-Equipment, furniture and materials set up/take down and cleaning in designated areas for nights and special events as scheduled
-Perform porter duties and hospitality setup for gatherings that request coffee/water/tea
-Errands, tasks, and projects as requested by Facilities Director
-Weekly or bi-weekly face-to-face meeting with the Facilities Director; Maintain positive communication with Supervisor and provide advance notice of any schedule conflicts with required hours
-Arrive to work on time in appropriate attire prepared to work more or less than a 6-hour shift as required

Skills And Qualifications:
-Read and manage calendar events and work orders
-Lift and carry heavy weight- up to 50 lbs; use dolly and other equipment
-Perform maintenance and repairs as needed
-Demonstrate “customer service” attitude while working and exhibit behavior consistent with FMC core values and beliefs
-Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability and flexibility
-Working knowledge of managing applications on phone
-Be an execution-oriented, problem solver with a strong work ethic
-Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
-Communicate directly and effectively with Supervisor, staff, all patrons/church members, and visitors

Desired Experience:
-Previous work on or for a church staff
-Previous work in custodial, maintenance, or hospitality roles
