Apply for Assistant Teacher
We’re looking for a caring, energetic Assistant Teacher to join our classroom team. Prior experience working with young children in a classroom setting is preferred, but a genuine love for early childhood education is essential.
Schedule:
Beginning August 2026
Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 - 12:15 p.m.
Hours vary depending upon the position. Please inquire.
Key Responsibilities:
As our assistant teacher, you’ll work closely with the lead teacher to support a joyful, engaging classroom where young children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. Your days will include helping with circle time, art and sensory activities, outdoor play, and daily routines that nurture each child’s growth and development.
You’ll also play an important role in maintaining a clean, organized classroom and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all times. Strong communication and collaboration are key, as you’ll be part of a supportive team that values partnership with families.
We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, enthusiasm, and flexibility to the classroom and who truly enjoys working with young children.

Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff members
Participate in school-wide events outside of normal school hours (up to four times per year), such as open houses and student performances
Communicate regularly and effectively with families using our parent communication app
Attend monthly all-staff meetings
