---We are seeking an experienced and dependable Pool Service Technician to join our team as an independent contractor (1099). This is a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor job where you will service residential pools independently after training.
---Responsibilities
Clean and maintain residential swimming pools
Test and balance pool chemicals
Skim, brush, vacuum, and empty baskets
Identify and report equipment issues
Complete a daily route efficiently and on schedule
Communicate clearly with the owner regarding jobs and any issues
---What We Provide
Company work truck (for daily route use only)
All tools, equipment, and supplies
Established service routes
Training period before working independently
---Requirements
Minimum 2 years of pool service experience (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
No criminal record
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from work (to pick up/drop off company truck)
Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions
Physically capable of handling a labor-intensive job
Strong work ethic with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
Dependable, honest, and operates with integrity
Good communication skills
Able to work independently after training
---Compensation & Structure
1099 independent contractor position (responsible for your own taxes)
Paid weekly (no deductions)
Pay is per pool serviced, averaging approximately $28–$30/hour depending on efficiency
